More Fun Than a Barrel of Monkeys!
Celebrating in style with Kaboom (of DKC2 fame).
(Upon opening our complimentary barrel, it smelled badly of charred monkey remains...)
Almost forgot about these collector cards issued in Nintendo Power magazine.
Seems I saw fit to stick them in binder sheets for preservation, and I'm glad I did.

There are 8 cards dedicated to each game (plus several cards to promote Virtual Boy at the end of the set).
In addition to DKC and DKC2, characters from other games include Mario Kart 64, Megaman X2 and Mortal Kombat 3, Star Fox 64 and Street Fighter Alpha.
That's quite a lineup... Wouldn't mind acquiring the cards from some of those games, particularly Mortal Kombat.
