Completing Super Mario Bros 3 - Without using Warp Zone.
The "traditional" way to complete Super Mario Bros 3 is to stock up on powerups, get a couple warp whistles and jump to the end. This allows the player to skip past the hellish worlds 6 & 7 which can be quite unforgiving.
Taking the most direct route, a seasoned player can beat the game in about 15 minutes...
But battling through every single world and making it to the end is something that most players haven't done...

But completing each consecutive world, back to back, all the way to the end is kinda ludicrous...
Especially considering the amount of time, and the fact that progress could not be saved on the oldschool game.

Playing through the game's 8 worlds (averaging 2 worlds per day), my Wii stayed powered on during the four days.
Bowser's castle! Still creepy, but definitely not as intimidating as it was 25 years ago...
Almost got chills as I first entered the rooms of creepy Bowser statues... OK, they're not that creepy anymore. But reaching the Holy Grail of Super Mario Bros 3 after conquering all the other worlds was a fun and challenging adventure.
